The Delacourts Divide

20 10 2006

For anyone who has visited Milton Ontario they know of Delacourts. A tiny quaint little fine china gift store in the very heart of Milton.

The store is located at the corner of Main Street and Martin Street, right by the Mill Pond. Its located in a tall grey and white stone face building. Probably one of the most beautiful buildings in town.

Its been a long-time Milton tradition that for any Miltonian that gets married they regsiter at Delacourts. The week before your wedding they put a big sign in the window with your names.

Its a great little store and the staff are bar-none the most knowledgeable out there.

They will take the time to help you match flatware, china ware and stemware to your tastes, as well as finding an everyday casual china that matches your fine china. . .

But the best things about this store are that they will price match any advertised price, they also giftwrap and do free local delivery! Delacourts will order in anything they don’t have in stock (and will always price match) and they will also call the other stores you are regsitered at and update any items that are bought at Delacourts for you. . . . .

A great local business. . . . .A1 Service. . . . .Great Selection . . . .

If you are ever in Milton:

oh, the reason for this Blog entry. . . . We need to convince Kate to regsiter at Delacourts, marrying a Milton boy - its only right. Its tradition and all. Help us get Kate on the Delacourts bandwagon!

Definitely need to register at Delacourts!!! You have to have your name in the window. It’s just a Milton must for Miltonians!!! Also, everyone from the Milton Gospel Hall shops there!
