One of the simply enjoyable things about a Wordpress blog is the stats. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again - I’m mad for the stats. At this point, its always been informational and comical - never a race to get hits. I’ve enjoyed the funny & weird search terms people use to find Joey Moggie, and how would I have known Colin’s Grilled Cheese receipe was linked on the Wikipedia page for Grilled Cheese without Wordpress stats?
The past few days I’ve got a huge number of hits from people searching ‘me’ and Colin.
Now I’ve never hidden ‘my identity’ with my blog, but all the same - who the heck are all these lurkers??

Kim calls her Blog The Darwin Exception

I found Kim’s blog in the Tag Surfer one day, and it’s quickly become a must-read for me.
My favourite feature on her blog is the Newspaper Humor. Unfortuntaly for me I always end up reading it while on a break at work, I try to laugh quietly but invititably I just can’t keep myself quiet, my small little fits of laughing and tears often raise an ‘Are you ok?’ from at least one co-worker.
Her feature never fails to make me cry with laughter. I have no idea where she finds the ads and clippings, but I’m certainly glad she does. I look forward to that weekly feature! http://thedarwinexception.wordpress.com/tag/oddities/newspaper-humor/

The problem seems to have been fixed, and I haven’t lost any of my stats.

Wordpress is giving me issues. So please bear with me. I might be in and out for the next few days until the Fine people at Wordpress get back to me.
My dashboard is telling me my Blog doesn’t exsist.
I’m here, I’m writing, I can find it on Goggle, your here reading this . . .so it does in fact exsist.
All of my stats, and many of my comments are gone. 
I wonder if there is a way to retrieve them?

As most of you now, I’ve been recently trying my hand at sewing. In one of my efforts to find a couple of easy free patterns to test out my sewing abilities, I came across this site: Threadbared
This site is filled with vintage pattern pictures with very funny captions. You don’t have to be a sewer to enjoy this one, in fact the ladies who do this site aren’t sewers at all.
